Come help us with the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk and Run to Stop Diabetes on Saturday, October 25, 2014. This one-day event raises funds to support the American Diabetes Association’s efforts to find a cure for this deadly disease, in addition to supporting diabetes education and advocacy for both adults and children. Funds also support our local programs like Diabetes Clubhouse, a 2-day camp for kids 4-7, and Teen Time, a networking and social group for teens 12-18 living with Diabetes.

This year’s Step Out is going to be so much fun... It will be set to a Fall/Harvest Theme with pumpkin decorating fun for the kids and/or kids at heart!

This event needs the support of many volunteers for all aspects of the event, including registration, greeting, rest stops, food service, pumpkin patch, kids zone and event set up/clean up. The event begins and ends at Liberty Park in downtown Salt Lake City.

A light breakfast and a volunteer event t-shirt will be provided. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old (unless accompanied by a volunteering adult). Please contact us if you want to volunteer or have questions.
