COMPUTER LITERACY VOLUNTEER
Responsibilities: Assist seniors with learning how to use certain applications or electronic devices. Help solve computer/phone issues, Guide seniors through online application processes, creating email addresses.
Requirements: Competency in basic computer skills to assist seniors with common questions regarding their phones, tablets and computers. Patient, excellent communication skills.
Fingerprint/background clearance, maintain bi-yearly TB skin test, satisfactory completion of on-site volunteer training
Dates/Times: 3 days per week, 2 hours each day (mornings 9 - 11AM or afternoons 12 - 2PM)
Length of appointment: : 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or by semester as determined and agreed upon between volunteer and program supervisor.
Minimum age: 18
