ASPIRE (Access to Student Assistance Programs in Reach of Everyone) volunteers work one on one with high school students to help discover his/her options after graduation. Whether it is a four year college, community college, apprenticeship or trade school, advisors assist students figure out their own unique path in the future. Once this has been decided, mentor's work with the students to create a timeline to apply for their chosen path and help with applications to post secondary institutions, scholarships, and financial aid. Mentors do not do the work for the students, but instead guide them through the process or online research and community outreach.

Mentors do not need to have a college degree' instead we are looking for people with life experience and a desire to be a source of encouragement and support in a student's life. All prospective mentors must complete an application, pass a background check, and go through training.

Training is provided in school, with additional online webinars. Mentors generally volunteer for 1-4 hours a week during the school year and all mentoring is done on campus.
