ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Texas

Volunteers of America Texas is in search of passionate and energetic individuals to facilitate exercise/movement classes for the women in Resolana, a program that works to break the cycle of incarceration and facilitate re-entry into the community for women in the Dallas County Jail.

The Instructor will be responsible instructing women to discover, develop and expand their creative thinking, imagination and artistic ability through the use of simple tools such as creative writing, art and playful creative expression. The class environment will be exciting, nurturing and noncompetitive.

Volunteers who wish to brighten the lives of women and help them overcome trauma and addiction are encouraged to apply. (Female volunteers only please)
