The Girl Scouts of NE Kansas and NW Missouri is interested in mentors and educators to help transform bright girls into admirable women.

As a Maryville Troop Leader, your objective will be to deliver the Girl Scout program to a troop of girls or teens on a regular basis through activities based on their needs and interests. Potential Troop Leaders must complete an application, interview, background check, orientation and basic leadership training.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Must becomeing a member of GSUSA and accepting the belifs of Girl Scouting

• Working in a defined adult capacity

• Supporting local and national Girl Scout policies, standards and procedures

• Working with 12-24 girls

• Managing money

• Planing and organizing activities and events

• completing records, reports, and final evaluation within established deadlines

• Working independently and as a part of a team

• Complying with current policies, procedures, and guidelines of Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA)

• Above all, be guided in all actions by the Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law
