The Salvation Army in Kearny is currently seeking volunteers to assist with their Friday evening Kids Program. Volunteers are needed to help with interacting with the kids, supervision and serving them dinner.
Volunteers should enjoy working with children and previous experience volunteering with children would be a plus. Volunteer should also work well with others and be willing to work as part of a team. Volunteer should also be dependable.

Description
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, food pantry/feeding programs, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division currently has 28 Corps Worship & Community Centers throughout the State, 65 Service Units, adult rehabilitation centers, a residential camp and an active Emergency Disaster Services program.
