The Salvation Army in Kearny needs music instructors to help teach guitar, drums, recorder, and/or singing to children as well as music theory.
Volunteer should be dependable, have good leadership skills, enjoy working with children and have a moderate to excellent knowledge of music theory and be able to play the instrument that they will be teaching. Volunteer should be able to work with a diverse group of people.

Description
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, food pantry/feeding programs, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division currently has 28 Corps Worship & Community Centers throughout the State, 65 Service Units, adult rehabilitation centers, a residential camp and an active Emergency Disaster Services program.
