Volunteers will help support our patients and families living in their homes or long-term care facilities in the Janesville and surrounding area by providing respite and companionship to caregivers. Volunteers can provide a variety of support during this time including: sit bedside with patients, run errands, read to patients, provide transportation, help with light housekeeping or sit quietly and listen. Interested individuals attend our Home Care training (two 4-hour training sessions) and an Orientation session. Other requirements include completing a volunteer application, providing 2 references and completing a 2-step TB test.

For more than 35 years, Agrace has been a nonprofit, community based health care agency dedicated to providing expert physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients and families through the stages of serious illness. Agrace HospiceCare is nationally recognized for the comprehensive hospice services we provide in patients' homes, the Agrace HospiceCare inpatient unit and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities throughout south central Wisconsin.
Now Agrace offers palliative care services to provide patients more options for feeling better, even while receiving treatment.
