Emily and students
Adults are eager learners

Come and learn what is like to volunteer with Catholic Charities Atlanta’s English Language/Civics instruction team. Saturday, June 18 th 9:00AM to 12:30PM, receive an orientation, meet our Adult Education staff and experienced volunteers. We will meet at our Northlake Office, 2305 Parklake Drive, Atlanta, GA 30345 . We are recruiting for our fall session.

Make a big impact in someone's life! Help adults learn to speak English by serving one evening each week.

Not only will you be able to provide a bridge to the culture and primary language of the United States, you'll learn about the students' cultures as well. Volunteers can teach a group of students or assist a lead instructor with a class. The students are friendly, interesting and grateful for the time volunteers offer.

We have classes four mornings and evenings each week. Volunteers commit to a two hour time period each week.

  • Mon, Tues, Wednes or Thurs from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM OR

  • Mon, Tues, Wednes or Thurs from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

During this time, our goal is for the students to speak as much as possible.
