Seven times a day, someone in this county dies in a home fire. The American Red Cross has launched a nationwide campaign to reduce this number by installing smoke alarms in homes. You can help save lives and prevent injuries in the following ways: CANVASS (knock on doors and promote free installation service), INSTALL (physically install the smoke alarm), EDUCATE (help residents develop a fire plan and complete a fire-safety checklist).
We will be meeting at Midway Baptist Church, 121 S. Winter Street, Midway KY 40347(this well be at the back of the church, parking behind doctor's office, W Higgins St & S Winter St.). For more information or to sign up to help, please contact Steve Powell at 859-227-7458.
