Calling all WINTER WARRIORS!!!!!!! Altus Hospice is hosting a COAT, SCARF AND GLOVE OR MITTEN drive to give back to our community by showing what the holiday spirit is all about.

I got this wonderful idea from Tara Smith-Atkins of Halifax, who started her drive by distributing the donated items by wrapping street or lamp poles with coats bundled with either scarves or mittens with a tag reading "I am not lost! If you are stuck out in the cold, please take me to keep warm!" I know that Texas does not experience as bitter cold weather as in Canada, however, I feel that this is a wonderful way to give back.

New or gently used items can be dropped off at our office located at 11352 Sugar Park Ln, 2nd floor, Sugar Land, TX 77478 or I will be happy to pick them up at your convenience. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via email or my cell number is 832-965-6898 anytime.
