Join us as a special event volunteer assisting us with Admissions or Selling Drink Tickets! Thunderbird Artists has chosen ICAN as its beneficiary charity for their Sculpture and Wine Festival--three days, January 15, 16, and 17, 2016 in Fountain Hills, Arizona (northeast of Phoenix)! You can help ICAN, a unique cancer charity, www.askican.org, by volunteering for this special event.

Thunderbird Artists is known for their annual art and wine events all over metropolitan Phoenix. These are must-attend art and wine festivals! We need your help as one of our event volunteers! No previous experience is needed. Just dress nicely for an outdoor event (layers!) and be a good representative in dealing with the public.

Thunderbird Artists, award-winning producer of juried fine art and wine festivals in Arizona, is delighted to be working with ICAN and gearing up for a unique celebration of sculptors (the first of its kind in Arizona) gathering from across the globe. Proceeds from this event will support ICAN's highly acclaimed Remission Coach Advocacy Programs serving Stage IV cancer patients.

All ICAN event volunteers will receive a Certificate of Completion if they work all three days. We would love to have you work all three days at this event, but if you can only volunteer for only one day, we would be delighted to have you with us as well! This is a great event for adults with teenagers to volunteer for--bring your family!

The Sculpture and Wine Festival event will take place on the picturesque Avenue of the Fountains, Fountain Hills, Arizona, near the world-renowned, fourth largest fountain in the world, in downtown Fountain Hills. This scenic desert community is located just east of Scottsdale, Arizona and surrounded by sweeping mountain views.

Thunderbird Artists will unite with ICAN - International Cancer Advocacy Network, as the wine hosting & admissions charity for this event with assistance of their dedicated volunteers. The wine tasting is $10, which provides a souvenir wine glass and six tasting tickets. Tastings are two-ounce pours and require 1, 2 or 3 tickets depending on the wine characteristics and quality. ICAN volunteers will greet event attendees at the entrances and help sell wine tasting tickets.

Adult volunteers will sell wine tasting tickets; teenagers and adult volunteers will handle GREETING the public at the various admissions entrances. We want to recruit people who will be friendly greeters of our event attendees!

Fountain Hills is a lovely backdrop for thousands of attendees, art lovers and collectors to gather, enjoy, and purchase exciting pieces of both award-winning and emerging sculptors.
