ORGANIZATION: Riverside County- RSVP Program

Patient Care Volunteer- Visit patients in their homes or in long-term care settings to provide companionship and/or caregiver relief.

Time Commitment- Weekly visits of up to 4 hours.

Made With Memories Volunteer- Sew teddy bears and mini-quilts utilizing the clothing items of patients that have passed away. The volunteer will receive clothing items or other materials that belonged to patients that have passed away, along with fiberfill and/or batting. The volunteer will utilize these materials to sew a teddy bear or to make a quilt.

Time Commitment- Volunteers may accept orders for bears/quilts as their personal schedules permit.

ALL TRAINING- Initial orientation will be conducted by phone, then 1 full day of training.
