ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association

Are you passionate about putting an end to Alzheimer’s disease? Do you want to get more involved with the Cedar Rapids Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the McGrath Amphitheatre? Then we need you! We would't be a success and couldn't raise awareness or funding without our amazing Walk Planning Committee members. We are looking to expand our committee with volunteers who would like a meaningful volunteer opportunity because of a personal connection or as an advocate for Alzheimer's disease.

What we ask from you:
- Attend monthly committee meetings (once a month to start, then twice a month closer to the Walk date) - Bring fresh, fun, and new ideas to each meeting with you and be engaged each meeting - Be willing to work! We want to do as much outreach in the community as possible but need teamwork to get it all accomplished - Be able to communicate easily with you about important Walk info (e-mail, phone, text, etc.)
- Join a Walk Team, start a Walk Team, and work with us on Walk Day!

Mandatory Dates:
Day of Walk is set for Saturday September 24, 2016
Meetings will begin in March/April and usually last an hour.
