Countdown to Noon (Second Shift)
ORGANIZATION: Great Lakes Children's Museum
Please visit the new page to apply.
Volunteers will be helping children as they prepare for the giant ball drop as part of our annual Countdown to Noon celebration. From 11 to Noon, children will be creating noise makers, party hats, and time capsules and decorating the giant ball.
At 11:45 am we will pull the giant ball - and hang it inside the museum in preparation for the countdown.
From 12:15 to 1:30 pm, children will again be making noise makers, party hats and time capsules plus we will add balloon animals to the mix.

Description
Volunteers are vital to making the Museum run smoothly. Volunteers make it possible for the Museum to offer exciting, educational, safe experiences for all our visitors. Contributing your time and skills benefits our community, while developing new skills and interests, meeting new friends, and making a difference in the life of a child. The Museum provides endless challenges for creativity, imagination, and exploration, and is currently looking for help to fulfill its mission. There is a variety of volunteer opportunities available, from one-time to short and long term.
