Looking to give back in 2016? Look no further here is the opportunity for you.
Memory DayByDay is a program, based on person-centered care to serve individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia before the age of 65.
The Memory Cafe is a place for all persons with Alzheimer’s Dementia and their caregivers to come and socialize, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and participate in planned activities in a warm and comfortable environment.
Assist with the setup and/or take down of the Memory Cafe (Tables and Chairs). Ensure that all patrons are comfortable. Provide patrons with shawl or lap blanket if feeling cold. Ask if anyone needs assistance, requires help accessing the restroom and answer any questions that might arise. The position will be once a week every Thursday beginning on Thursday February 11th, 2016. There will be two shifts for this position from 1:30pm-5:00pm and 5:00pm-8:30pm
