We are seeking a patient and compassionate volunteer with excellent telephone skills who would enjoying having brief phone conversations with a set group of senior clients.
Our Friendly Caller program will be tested from Monday, October 5 th through Wednesday, December 30 th. The hours are 9:30 am to 1:30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Brief phone calls will be placed to approximately 25 senior clients during this 4 hour period. The outcome of the trial will help determine if regular check-in phone calls can improve the socialization of seniors in need of companionship.More opportunities with Know How Network - Crisis Center
