Want serve Habitat for Humanity's mission that everyone deserves a decent affordable place to live? Volunteer at the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore is a home improvement outlet store operated mostly by volunteers. All merchandise is donated and sold at a fraction of retail cost. All proceeds from the store are than funnelled back into our local building efforts.
Become part of our ReStore team as a sales floor assistant, donation bay assistant or assist our truck driver on home pick-ups. Description
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, Christian housing ministry that puts faith into action. Founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, Habitat for Humanity has built over 400,000 simple, decent and affordable homes for families all around the world.
Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH) was started in 1989 and has built over 84 houses. CMHFH works in partnership with people in need and community members to build and renovate houses. Habitat sells the houses to low-income families at no profot with a no-interest mortgage. We are able to do this because of the donated time, resources and talents of the community.
