Planning and logistics of putting on a Luncheon and Health Fair with Educational opportunities for women affected by Heart Disease. "GO RED for WOMEN"
Looking for a worthy cause to volunteer for? Volunteer as littlle or as much as you would like. We have a nice office environment located in downtown Spokane.
We are looking for:
Commitee members. Meeting once a month planning our Luncheon
Office workers. Computer and telephone work planning logistics and communication
Day of Event Volunteers. Setting up, organizing the day of the Health Fair and Luncheon
Health Fair Volunteers. Helping distribute information the day of the Luncheon
Street Team. Visiting Health Fairs and promoting GO RED for WOMEN throughout the community.

Many of the key metrics in the 2010 goal of the American Heart Association were achieved early, including exceeding a 25% reduction in deaths from heart disease and stroke.
The 2020 strategic goal for the American Heart Association is to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% while continuing to decrease deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20%.
Description
One of the American Heart Association key goals is to increase volunteer engagement by 25%.
Volunteers have been the lifeblood of the American Heart Association since its inception more than 80 years ago. That giving and selfless spirit continues today throughout all of our fundraising activities. You have a chance to help spread knowledge to Americans regarding their No. 1 health threat.
Year in and year out, our dedicated, committed and encouraging volunteers are the champions of behind our successes. These self-sacrificing volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization.
Remember, our work is not finished. Despite all the knowledge that has been shared, heart disease remains the No. 1 killer of all Americans.
