Position Description
Use your energy and drive to help us hire the best and brightest for our organization. As the Recruiter you will partner with the HR Manager to find prospective candidates that meet the evolving needs of GFC, and to deliver the best talent in the organization. The position is based in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Human Resources Manager to understand current staffing needs as well as future staffing goals/plans.
- Conduct initial phone screen interviews with potential candidates to evaluate experience and to ensure their qualifications match the open roles.
- Ensure timeliness of recruitment process through regular follow-up with hiring manager and candidates.
- Facilitate on-site interviews and obtain feedback on candidates. Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience, regardless of outcome, through timely follow-up and closure.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with experience in a non-profit organization preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple positions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Excellent relationship skills and team based project experience.
- Experience with utilizing multiple sourcing channels such as FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Indeed, cold calling, etc.
