If you love working with kids and consider yourself a great role model for students, come to Youth Net! We are looking for mentors to work with kids in small group settings or one-on-one. If you are looking to gain experience or already have experience working with kids in a small group, this is the opportunity for you. As a Small Group Mentor, you will gain: tutoring experience, leadership, relationships with students who look up to you, time and classroom management skills, and volunteer hours.

Mentors will assist with homework, and facilitate/encourage group play and social interactions between kids who typically have a harder time interacting with others their age. With the help of mentors, they learn lifelong skills, including how to work with others, how to deal with situations where the outcome is not what they desire, and much, much more.

Hours volunteers are needed during are 3:30-4:45pm every day throughout the school year. Come in daily or just a few times a week, whenever your schedule allows.

Please see the Volunteering with Marshfield Clinic event on the Volunteer Wisconsin's homepage (www.VolunteerWisconsin.org) for more details on the Marshfield Clinic volunteer application process.
