Join the Veterans Alternative team as a volunteer member. We are in search of qualified volunteers to help with fundraising events and around our center (team house). Military background & social service experience preferred, but not required. As a nonprofit organization, volunteers mean everything to us. Help us in our mission to promote post-traumatic GROWTH amongst our Combat Veteran community.

Mission Statement
To serve veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress related to combat and/or military sexual trauma and their families through a resiliency & strength-based program utilizing proven alternative modalities.
Description
ACTIVATE Post-traumatic Growth through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an emerging form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies, shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly (usually within 1-5 sessions). Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, and many other mental health conditions can experience remarkable benefits starting in the first session. TRAIN with TRX Tactical workouts, boot/fitness camp, obstacle course work, and FCS Kali. REPLENISH the spirit with iRest based meditation (30 minutes are equivalent to 2 hours of REM) sleep), yoga, and the comaraderie of other Warriors. **All of our services are FREE to Veterans who have served in, or in support of a Combat Zone.
