The Chicago Election Board is appointing paid Election Coordinators to serve at the November 6, 2018 General Election, February 26, 2019 Municipal Runoff and April 2, 2019 Municipal Runoff and Supplementary Aldermanic Election (as needed). Election Coordinators assist Election Judges in the polling place, handle voting system set-up, trouble-shooting and Election Day voter registration. They are trained in all aspects of managing the polling place. Those who complete training, pass the tests and serve on Election Day are paid $450.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and registered to vote in Cook County. Also eligible are college students who are U.S. citizens and attend a college/university in Cook County. We provide each participant with two in-person training sessions and exams and an online training session before they are assigned to a Chicago polling place.

Election Coordinators are responsible for running the set-up, operation and closing of the precinct on Election Day. They are the Board representative in the polling place, having been extensively trained in all Election Day procedures as well as equipment set-up, operation and troubleshooting, including Election day Registration.
