Join CWS' Human Race Fundraising Team!!
This year Church World Service will be participating in the annual Volunteer Center Human Race and we need to gather and create a strong fundraising team. The human race is a race that helps to raise money for local non-profits. As a part of the fundraising team, you would be helping to fundraise on behalf of Church World Service. The day of the race is scheduled for April 16th, 2016 but fundraising will begin in January. Persons interested in joining the team should be determined, focused. Previous fundraising experience is not required but will be an asset. Volunteer Fundraisers will be required to attend trainings with the Human Race Coordinator (Volunteer Coordinator). This is a great opportunity for those looking for more community involvement and engagement, as well as college students looking to improve their resumes.

The CWS Immigration and Refugee Program helps welcome newly arrived refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries and have been offered the opportunity to start a new life of peace and dignity here in the US. CWS provides the support necessary for refugees to become self-sufficient in their new homes.
