Do you have experience in the education field? Are you a college student in a human services field? Do you want to have a positive impact on your community? Do you enjoy helping people who have the greatest challenges in life?
Places for People is looking for volunteers for the inaugeral HiSET (High School Equivalent Test) Tutoring Program! HiSET Tutoring will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am - 12pm.
Anyone with experience working with people with mental illnesses and/or education are encouraged to apply! Help us to make this program successful!
Clients are being turned down time and time again for different employment opportunities because they have little to no education. Help them towards recovery through teaching high school level math, language arts, science, geography, and composition.
