Want to become a hospice volunteer, but frustrated you can't visit patients because of covid19 restrictions in nursing homes? Get started now by sending patients a card, a picture from your kids/grandkids, a meaningful poem, scripture or a love note. Patients in our care would greatly benefit from your heartfelt cards. You may not be able to hug an elder in a local nursing home right now, but you can hug them with a personal card or letter.
When covid19 restrictions are lifted, you can visit a patient or two, or continue sending cards and letters. It's up to you.
Serious inquiries only: must be able to pass a drug screen, TB test, background check, and complete volunteer orientation (at your own pace).

We are a local hospice that supports patients and their families in the Denver area and Castle Rock communities. Our volunteers provide companionship visits, playing or listening to music the patient enjoys, reading to the patient, writing letters for patients, doing life review, providing Veteran-to-Veteran visits, Veteran pinning ceremonies, bad dad jokes, Reiki, Legacy Projects, etc., etc. Have a talent you'd like to share with a hospice patient?
