Teaching Assistant Digital Girl, Inc. (DGI) is a STEM program, dedicated to empowering inner city youth to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. At DGI we believe that it is critical for underserved populations to have exposure to these revolutionary fields! At this time, we have several After School computer programming courses in place and are looking for volunteers to assist in the classroom.
Although experience within the technology and/or engineering sector is a plus, we have several openings that do not require technical expertise. Be reliable, available afternoons, comfortable and interested in working with children.
Time commitment is 3 hours, one day a week for 10-15 week session.
