Fundraising Specialist (Board Position)

Amici Charity is looking to fill an open board position for a Fundraising Specialist!
This position is non-paid and volunteer only.

Fundraising Specialist Description:

Do you have experience initiating and managing fundraisers?

This position would be responsible for working with the board to develop successful fundraising campaigns and managing them from inception to completion.

This position would also help to review our existing fundraising framework for opportunities to maximize fundraising potential from these events.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Participation in plenty of fundraising events (big or small!)

Experience proposing fundraising ideas.

Ideally, experience managing successful fundraising campaigns.

Bonus for experience working on fundraising with charities or non-profit organizations.

You should have ties to the local community (Lakeland, FL and the surrounding area).

Expectations:

You will be expected to attend board meetings in person once a month (it's a lunch meeting, and usually takes about an hour).

You should anticipate investing 1-5 hours a month on your own schedule for this position.

You may be requested to attend official charity fundraising events 2-3 times per year. These events usually will require between 4-6 hours of your time.
Examples: annual fundraising banquet, charity disney ticket raffle, first friday/community market events.

Most of your non-board meeting/event time will be remote/from home.
