Our cats and kittens at the Wheat Ridge Petsmart need a caretaker to stop in and check on them, take home laundry to wash and return to their kennels, and pick up paperwork for them when they're adopted. Ideally, this volunteer will live nearby and be able to go in to the Petsmart location if a kitty gets sick and needs to go to a vet or to a foster home. We usually have anywhere from 2-4 cats and kittens at this location at a time.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies pulls homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters and places them in loving foster homes until their forever homes are found. We promote spaying and neutering to reduce pet overpopulation and encourage quality relationships between pets and their people through behavior resources and training.
