MSS offers Christmas assistance to families experiencing a crisis through the holidays. We provide toys, some clothing, and food to help make sure that all children in our service area received "Christmas Cheer." We have consistantly been providing Christmas Cheer to over 800 children in the community.

There are many aspects to the Christmas Cheer program.

Interview Team - will be in charge of interviewing Christmas client load. Some data entry is required. Schedule Monday - Friday; 9am - finish. Interview Team will need to consist of at least one bi-lingual interviewer. Interviewer will see the first 10 people to walk in for Christmas Cheer assistance. Once they have completed the 10 clients, the day is finished. Volunteers Needed: 5

Cheer Store Team - will be in charge of set - up of Christmas Cheer store; as toys come into the office Cheer store team members will be in charge of all sorting.Volunteers Needed: 4

Bagging Team - will do all of the bagging for all families that are approved. Team Leader will be in charge of checking all bags. Volunteers Needed: 4

Runners- will be responsible for locating bags and food baskets and delivering them to each family waiting for pick up. Volunteers Needed: 6 - (2) food baskets (4) bags

Volunteers will report to the assigned Cheer Leader for this program. They must be able to follow directions and work with limited supervision. As of Sept. the program will be held at MSS offices. There could be a change in location sometime before the start of the program. Updates will be made as soon as possible. Volunteers may work in more than one position for this program.
