Please contact Project RIDE to register for an informational meeting about how your Key Club can be a part of the biggest and best Crab Feed in the west!
*Clubs MUST sign up for the entire 4-day opportunity including setup, event help, cleanup and additional restoration on MLK Day. Times vary. You may send different members for each opportunity but club leadership is expected to be present all 4 days.
*Large numbers of volunteers needed, get your entire club involved!
*This is a competitive opportunity and not all clubs will be accepted. Impress us with your follow up, professionalism and attention to detail.
*Tips from the event will be distributed to clubs (not individuals) post-event.
Reply by December 8th. Meeting with club presidents will take place after school December 9th. All paperwork must be returned by January 4th.
Event benefits Project RIDE's therapeutic horseback riding program for people with disabilities. Ongoing volunteer opportunities available year-round. Standouts from the event are encouraged to apply for competitive leadership program next summer.
These are the total numbers of volunteers needed, not what we expect from your club!
Friday January 15th 4pm - 8pm - 20 volunteers
Saturday January 16th 4pm - 10pm - 121 volunteers
Sunday January 17th 8am - 2pm - 30 volunteers
Monday January 18th 10am - 2pm - 20 volunteers
All volunteers must be signed up and liability releases submitted by January 4th. Parents must sign liability releases for any volunteers under 18. Minimum age is 14. Absolutely no walk-ins will be accepted!

Mission Statement
Since 1979, Project R.I.D.E. has provided recreational therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Our program is dedicated to the improvement of a rider's physical, mental, social and emotional well-being through interaction with specially trained horses and ponies.
Description
We provide therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Volunteers assist in the daily operation of our program including walking with students while they ride and managing horses safely.
