Sensory Night focuses on inclusion for children with sensory sensitivities such as visual impairment, autism or sensory processing disorder.
Where: Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History
When: December 5 th, 2015.
Time: 5-9:30 but half shifts are available if necessary (5-7:30 pm or 7-9:30 pm)
What (can do both or just one):
- Help with activities like building cars, making ornaments, science experiments etc
- Speak about your job. We provide a vocational training aspect so we are looking for people who are comfortable speaking about aspects of their job
What you need:
If you would like to volunteer for this event you must attend a mandatory volunteer training and sensory etiquette session and be background checked. The training will be held Wednesday December 2 nd from 5:30-7:30. All paperwork for background checks must be completed on December 2 nd or prior.
