Volunteer tutors will assist adults with low literacy skills to learn basic reading & writing in a one-on-one, small group or classroom setting. Tutors receive training and all materials needed to successfully teach their student(s). Most tutoring takes place at the Sutter County Library or at one of our community partner sites where we also offer tutoring services. Helping an adult learn to read and write is extremely rewarding and will not only change their life but yours as well!
