Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a national IRS program staffed by local volunteers to provide free preparation and electronic filing of tax returns. It’s an important service to thousands of individuals and families in this county with low-to-moderate incomes who are eligible for tax credits.
You can make a difference in the lives of Kentucky residents. No experience is required and there are opportunities that don’t involve preparing taxes. We need volunteers to serve as:
- Greeters
- Tax Preparers
- Site Coordinators
Online training available in January.
Certified Public Accountants can earn CPE credits!
We offer a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings and weekends!
