On behalf of ASSE International, I want to thank you for visiting our posted site here on VolunteerMatch.org.

Volunteerism can be a most rewarding experience. By becoming an ASSE International Area Representative you can make the most out of your volunteer experience. You will be providing a valuable service to young exchange students from all over the world, as well as the families who host them in your community, and help them to realize the rewards of an intercultural exchange. Through this program, exchange students, host families and you will be contributing to world of harmony and understanding.

It takes a certain type of person to be an ASSE Area Representative. They need to be enthusiastic, outgoing and have a passion for working with high school exchange students and their gracious host families. Area Representatives are generously reimbursed for expenses and earn bonuses for their achievements through recruiting families and placing students with them while seeing them through the school year. As an Area Representative you will provide guidance and support to the student and family throughout the student’s homestay as well as organize activities for the students in your area.
