Adopt a Doggie is looking for a couple of Event Coordinators to host our monthly adopters & Doggie dog park meetup event.
Objective:
- Working closely with the Lead Consultant and other volunteers on setting up each meetup.
- Planning date, and location of the meetup each month. It will be in a dog park in the great SF area.
- Posting and sending out invitation to all adopters/dog owners at least 2 weeks ahead of the meetup date using our email blast service and FB event post.
- Need to be at the event location during the event to take photos of each family and their dogs, most importantly, take several group photos is a must.
- Collecting donations and doing simple fundraisers in each meetup.
- Other objectives may needed on a case by case basis.
Requirment:
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver license and a reliable car with proof of insurance.
- Able to travel thru out the bay area, major cities like: San Francisco, San Mateo, Livermore, Alameda, Fremont, Hayward, San Jose, Gilroy, etc.
- Dog events experience is preferred but not required. Traning and shadowing are provided.
- Dog loving person is a must, having a dog is not required.
- Good at team work.
- Able to follow safety guidelines.
- Need to be able to volunteer for at least 6 months for this position.

Description
Adopt a Doggie is an international rescue organization. We are a group of dedicated, animal-loving individuals and we believe every dog should have a home and the chance to be loved. We rescue homeless, abused, neglected, and abandoned dogs that are living in horrible conditions and often forgotten about. We particularly work with overseas rescue groups in Taiwan, where there are millions of street dogs dying inhumanely. All of Adopt a Doggie’s dogs are placed in experienced and reputable foster homes where they are evaluated for temperament and trained to our best abilities before being available for adoption. We believe the best way to ensure a successful adoption is when we know the dog’s temperament and can then match the dog with the right family. Through our outstanding adoptions we are able to save lives and educate people around the world on the importance of spaying and neutering pets, as well as responsible pet ownership.
