The Girl Scout Cookie program is famous for its delicious cookies, but did you know that it is famous for giving girls the opportunity to be young entrepreneurs? Girl Scout Cookies provide girls with a chance to lead, set goals, earn money and fund opportunities. All of this requires a few organized, motivated adults behind the scenes.

The Girl Scouts in your community need a person or a group of 2-3 people to coordinate next year's cookie sale from early November to early March. Requirements include access to a computer and internet, organization skills, willingness to train others, answer questions and a strong desire to motivate young entrepreneurs.

You’ll get to meet so many amazing new people, gain invaluable leadership skills, contribute to building friendships that will last a lifetime and help strengthen the Girl Scout movement in your community.

Why wait? You can be part of something truly wonderful right now. Sign up today!

Description

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is an organization dedicated to girls and is a leader in innovative girl programming and collaboration. GSEM serves nearly 33,000 girls, ages 5-18, from 178 communities in Eastern Massachusetts. Our community of nearly 15,000 adult members includes volunteers, parents, caregivers, staff, alumnae, students, and professionals. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible options that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls.
