(AVC) Advancing Vibrant Communities needs help with building ramps, installing grab bars, yard work, and light home repairs.
AVC also needs help with delivery and pick up of donated household items (Furniture Deliveries are Usually on Tuesdays)
AVC is trying to get volunteers to help outside of the 4 walls of the church
Volunteers must be 18+. 55 years or older can recieve the RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteers Program) benefits of mileage, supplemental medical and liability insurance, and also accidental life and dismembership coverage while they are volunteering.
Even if you are not 55 you can give the gift of time helping in your community.
