For the past 30 years, Candlelight Christmas House tours have become a holiday tradition in the Chadds Ford area. Each year visitors tour several unique homes in the area. As a volunteer for this event, you have the opportunity to be a greeter, baker, help decorate for the event, assist with parking, and additional activities in the homes. We will have a list shortly of all the places that will be on the tour.
In addition to the various opportunities, we have three different shift times: 1) 12:30-2:30 2) 2:30-4:30 and 3) 4:30-6:30. Just let us know what you're interested in doing and what times you would prefer!

The mission of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to preserve the properties, records and artifacts, to interpret the history and to educate the public concerning the way of life in the Chadds Ford area with emphasis on the eighteenth century. The vision of the Chadds Ford Historical Society is to be the finest community historical society, preserving the history and interpreting the life and times of the Chadds Ford area. The Society aspires to be known for providing excellent educational opportunities to visitors, schools and residents, as well as being an active supporter of and a focal point for community activities.
Description
The Chadds Ford Historical Society (CFHS) is a private, non-profit, community-based, volunteer organization that has restored and maintains three pre-Revolutionary buildings which are open to the public as House Museums.
