Volunteers are needed to join the Event Leadership Team for the Winchester/Frederick County Relay for Life that will take place on June 14, 2019. The leadership team meets one time per month from October- May. Volunteers are needed for event planning and implementation, positions which include:

Registration/Event Promotion
Accounting Team Member
Luminaria/Torch Lead
Survivor Engagement and Dinner
Ceremonies
Activities
Children’s Activities Lead

Description

Relay for Life is the main fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life events are planned and run by community volunteers. The event is a 12- 14 hour overnight walk that consists of many teams working together. The teams fundraise throughout the year and celebrate their efforts for that year at the Relay Event.
