GiGi's Playhouse McHenry County is a Down syndrome achievement center which has been in McHenry for 7 years. We are one of 26 centers throughout the US and Mexico. GiGi's serves children and adults of all ages with each Playhouse providing educational and therapeutic programs at no charge to families, and in a format that individuals with Down syndrome learn best. All programs aim to maximize self-confidence and empower individuals to achieve their greatest potential. We're looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer board members to provide strategic direction for our Playhouse. If you can contribute your time, thoughtfulness, and leadership and are interested in exploring this opportunity, please contact us to find out whether this volunteer opportunity is right for you. We're especially looking for people with accounting, marketing, finance, education and healthcare experience.
