Are you a Veteran? - OR - Are you a person interested in helping other Veterans? Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide companionship to our Veteran patients in local nursing facilities or in private homes.
You can provide companionship and also participate in our special Pinning Ceremonies that HONOR veteran patients. This could be the first and last time we can say THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! It means so much to our patient and their loved ones.
Hours are very flexible, weekdays, evenings or weekends.
