The Iowa City Downtown District and Coral Ridge Mall are both setting up special gift wrapping stations for the holiday season! They are allowing non-profits and other organizations to wrap gifts for holiday shoppers and allow the non-profits to have a donation box to support each organization.
Summer of the Arts is excited to be doing gift wrapping at BOTH locations, and we need at least two volunteers to cover different times on the following dates:
Old Capitol Town Center
Saturday, December 5th (11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m.)
Saturday, December 12th (11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m.)
Coral Ridge Mall
Monday, December 14th (4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.)
We've set up a signup page for volunteers on our website at http://summerofthearts.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/ You will be able to view and choose from the available volunteer shifts, then simply provide us with your contact information to confirm participation!

The Mission of Summer of the Arts is to build community by bringing people together in the heart of Iowa City to experience, learn about, and enjoy free arts and cultural programs.
Description
Summer of the Arts is a local non-profit organization that works to produce and create a year filled with arts and cultural entertainment in the Iowa City Area. Our festivals and events include: the Iowa Arts Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Friday Night Concert Series, Free Movie Series, the Soul & Blues Festival, and the Holiday Thieves Market.
In addition to individual volunteer opportunities, we also encourage group volunteering, which is a fantastic team building exercise and a positive way to represent your group in the community. Head over to the Volunteer information page on our website to fill out the Group Volunteer Interest Form!
