Project for Pride in Living (PPL)’s mission is to work with individuals and families with lower incomes to achieve greater self-sufficiency through housing, employment training, support services and education.
Program Description: Project for Pride in Living Youth Development strives to empower students from low-income families to achieve success in school and in life through academic support and hands on enrichment opportunities. Techspark! is a program designed to help close the digital divide among teens by providing hardware, software and internet access. Techspark! volunteer tutor-mentors work with middle school students one-on-one or in small groups, and support the students’ social and academic growth while learning about technology. PPL Techspark! @ New Hope serves students in grades 6th-8th living in affordable housing through PPL.
