Enrich the lives of adults with mental illness who are bettering their lives at Montgomery Station (http://www.fs-inc.org/services/programs/montgomery-station), a program of Family Services, Inc. The Meal Server will prepare and serve breakfast and a catered lunch to up to 60 adult clients on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. This position supports adult clients as well as Montgomery Station staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a pre-planned breakfast, such as French toast, pancakes, or oatmeal
- Serve a catered lunch
- General clean-up after breakfast and lunch
- Enthusiastically enlist the help of clients to perform kitchen duties such as set-up and clean-up (this is an expectation set forth for clients upon entry into the program).
- Put leftover food away at the end of lunch
