Welcome Booth - greet people, hand out programs, assist with Neighborhood Map (visitors put stickers on giant map of Carrboro where they live).
-Need 2 volunteers per shift. This is a great volunteer job for anyone who likes to meet new people and talk to them!
Family Games - assist adult coordinator in organizing large groups of children and adults in games
-Need 5 to 8 volunteers. Volunteers must be willing to participate in games, follow adult coordinators directions closely, and be comfortable talking to/playing with young children.
Family Crafts- assist adult coordinator with series of children's crafts
-Need 5 to 10 volunteers. Volunteers must be comfortable working one on one with children, be comfortable doing arts and crafts projects.
Hospitality Room-Town Hall -Room 100
Monitor room for performers only. Will have a GREEN WRIST band on needed for entry. No other admittance. Restock food and drinks as needed.
Recycling-trash -Assist with collection and sorting of recyclable items, plastic, paper materials at the stations.
Parking lots Bim and Laurel - Monitor parking lot for performers parking.
Stage Area- General Assistance with stage functions. Assist with loading -unloading performers gear

Description
The Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department strives to offer something for everyone no matter age or interest. A wide variety of programs and events are offered year round. Whether you are a toddler, a youth, a teenager, an athlete, a traveler, an adult, or a senior, the Department has a palette of programs available. Year round athletic leagues for youth and adults are available, like youth baseball and basketball, adult softball and ultimate Frisbee just to name a few. Adults can take a day trip, enjoy a hike, or participate in dance, zumba, yoga or nia. For youth, there are an endless amount of summer camps and year round activities like toddler playtime, young gymnast, dancing and art programs.
