JFSA is a social service agency located in Las Vegas, NV. Our mission is to be the place for people of all backgrounds to go in times of need. We provide solutions to improve the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age. Jewish Family Service Agency welcomes people of all backgrounds.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with our Senior Food Pantry Distribution - a fun and lively environment! Our food pantry is constantly growing, and we are looking for volunteers to help us grow while serving our clients with the dignity and respect they deserve. This position is a busy one that provides a huge sense of fulfillment.

Volunteer responsibilities include:

- Preparing food pantry packages for each appointment on the day's schedule, taking into consideration any special requests or dietary restrictions (training provided)

- Greeting clients curb side and checking them in for their appointments using our computer software Oasis (training provided)

- Verify client information: name, household size, address, etc.

- Bring food out to cars and place in trunk for contactless pick up.

- Assisting Food Pantry team with other special tasks such as receiving shipments, sorting through, food drive donations, holiday prep, etc.

*All volunteer positions may require lifting up to 25-35 lbs.

The work that we do at the food pantry is very rewarding. You will go home with the feeling that you truly made an impact on someone’s day, which you have.
