Donate to Metropolitan Family Services DuPage Holiday Gift Program to provide assistance to DuPage-area families in need. Your participation in the Holiday Gift Program allows families who cannot afford to purchase gifts to experience the joy of the holiday season.

For over 20 years, this program has helped provide toys and essentials to Metropolitan’s DuPage families who otherwise would not have the opportunity to give gifts to their loved ones.

You can

Donate gift cards or make a monetary donation to provide special holiday meals. Gift cards (minimum of $25) to area grocery stores and "big box" stores in the DuPage County-area are recommended and greatly appreciated by our families.

Coordinate with friends, co-workers, church and civic groups, or host a party asking attendees to bring a NEW unwrapped gift to distribute to Metropolitan’s families in need. Items needed include

ages 0-12

  • Books
  • games (no video games or electronics)
  • toys

ages 13-17

  • winter outdoor accessories
  • toiletries
  • hoody sweatshirts
  • pajama pants

senior citizens

  • winter outdoor accessories
  • robes
  • slippers
  • lap blankets

Sponsor a family. You can provide a family with gift cards or special items for their child or a senior. We request gift cards of a minimum of $25 per child/senior.
