Ambassadors at 2015 Carousel-ebration

Meetings: Ambassadors will meet quarterly with CNCS program staff to address specific and current program needs: quarterly newsletters, volunteer recognition, CNCS program updates/changes and brainstorming sessions.

Ambassador Roles: Educate the local community about the work of RSVP such as deliver program materials to various public locations such as libraries, court and city buildings and community/senior centers

.Staff tables at relevant fairs and community events or speak at service clubs- Ambassadors will select community events they would like to attend.

Assist program manager/coordinator with special events including fund raising activities and or volunteer recognition.

Assist staff in identifying or soliciting local support, new volunteer stations and volunteer recruitment.

Volunteers with special skills or expertise can utilize those skills for special projects i.e. quarterly newsletters etc.

Assess satisfaction of volunteers and volunteer stations.

Link the project with other community service resources.

Procure donations for RSVP projects.

As RSVP Ambassador Volunteers, you have the right to choose which role/roles to be involved in. RSVP Ambassador Volunteers must have own transportation and easy access to venues and facilities.
