Bring joy to developmentally disabled adults by sharing your trained and certified therapy animal. We are seeking a volunteer to bring their certified pet for one to two sessions per month on a weekday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
We are very flexible about the scheduling. You are invited to schedule a tour to check us out before scheduling a session.
Merrick Inc. Adult Day and Memory Care Services provides comprehensive day services for developmentally disabled adults and adults with memory loss issues in a clean and welcoming environment in downtown North St. Paul.

Description
A human services organization that began in 1964 and now supports over 375 clients, employs over 100 staff, and coordinates services throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area from our wonderful energy-efficient building in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. In the summer of 2012 we opened a program site for Adult Day Services (ADS) and Memory Care Services (MCS) in downtown North St. Paul.
We are dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through pre-vocational and life enrichment opportunities, and guiding them toward realizing their goals and dreams. Through person-centered planning and a discovery process, including selfadvocacy, the clients at Merrick are finding their place in the world:
- working in desired jobs;
- engaging in their communities;
- building relationships;
- enhancing personal skills, and
- leading more self-determined lives.
